Our Commitment #
The Trans History Project is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status #
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

- Keyboard Navigation: All functionality is available using a keyboard.
- Screen Reader Compatibility: Content is structured with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA landmarks.
- Text Alternatives: Images include descriptive alt text.
- Color Contrast: Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Focus Indicators: Interactive elements have visible focus states.
- Semantic HTML: Proper HTML5 elements are used to convey meaning and structure.
